“Growing in God’s grace” is a beautiful concept! I view it as a journey… which leads to humility, and reliance on God’s love and forgiveness. It’s about deepening our relationship with God, allowing His grace… unmerited favor… to shape our character, actions, and understanding over time.
As I ponder this… passages like 2 Peter 3:18 come to mind: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” With that in mind, I kinda see it as an active process—studying scripture, praying, and living out faith in a way that aligns more closely with God’s will. It’s not about earning salvation (which is a gift through grace, as in Ephesians 2:8-9), but about maturing in it, becoming more compassionate, patient, and Christ-like. This is my heart’s desire…
May we…
Let go of pride or self-reliance and trusting God more.
Learn from life’s trials, seeing them as opportunities to lean on God’s strength.
And this is also a deep desire of mine, extend grace to others, mirroring what’s been received.
