Part of my heritage comes from Alaska. My mother was full blood Yupik Eskimo. Although I don’t know much about that part of my life… I dream of Alaska often. I envy that my relatives live there and I sometimes wonder what it would be like to live there too!
Here in Northern Michigan it gets chilly sometimes. Today was one of those chilly days and as I surveyed the woods that surround our geodesic home… I found myself thinking about Alaska and my mom. This song came from those daydreams.
