Inspired by the memory of my dad and I looking at the moon through a telescope in 1969. We were living in Hawaii at the time… and I’ll never forget those nights where we stationed ourselves on the roof of our apartment complex and peered into the night sky. I was always in awe of what I saw within those explorations of the heavens.
I still have dreams of my dad who passed away on May 1st, 1992… and they are always dreams where I am being comforted and encouraged… held, and even covered. I cherish those so much and I purpose to not forget them. They are treasures to my heart!
I still look up these days… but for an all together different reason. To marvel at the beauty of God’s handiwork.
“Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.” Isaiah 40:26
This song is a new song that is a aprt of my forthcoming album release called “Light of Change.” It is a continuing story of redemption and restoration. I hope it blesses and encourages you… it will be released, August 30th! Until then… I hope you enjoy this new song… Lift Up Your Eyes!
